Terrassa: Associació de Persones Sordes de Terrassa. (Association of Deaf People of Terrassa)

The Associació de Persones Sordes de Terrassa was founded in 1981 and is the oldest of the three entities linked to the LSC of Terrassa, capital of Vallès Occidental together with Sabadell.

Lleida area:

Lleida: Llar de Persones Sordes de Lleida (Home of Deap People of Lleida)

The Llar de Persones Sordes de Lleida was founded in 1953 and is the only association linked to the LSC in the entire Segrià region. When they were children, many of the members of the association went to the Escola Llar de Sant Josep de Serviàs, where they met and began to form part of the Deaf community in the area. For this reason, some signs that they use are different or present variants with respect to the rest of the linguistic domain of LSC.

Palafrugell: Centre de Persones Sordes del Baix Empordà (Center of Deaf People of Baix Empordà)

The Centre de Persones Sordes del Baix Empordà is the most recently created association of all those visited, since it was founded in 2013.

The Associació de Persones Sordes de Blanes i La Selva was founded in 1984.

Barcelona: Casal de Sords de Barcelona (Home for the Deaf in Barcelona)

The Casal de Sords de Barcelona is the oldest of the associations where we have recorded, since it was founded in 1916. It is also the association we visited that has the most affiliated members (319 according to the data on the website of FESOCA in 20XX).
